These occur on Quaternary estuarine deposits being "not of concern". 12.3.3 being Eucalyptus tereticornis woodland to open forest on alluvial plains which is "endangered". 12.5.5 being Eucalyptus portuensis, Corymbia intermedia shrubby open-forest to woodland. Occurs on complex of remnant Tertiary surfaces and sedimentary rocks which is "of concern" and 12.3.12 which is Melaleuca viridiflora, Eucalyptus latisinensis or E. exserta ± Melaleuca quinquenervia, Corymbia intermedia, E. tereticornis woodland to low open-woodland. Occurs on drainage lines along coastal lowlands which is "of concern".

Views up and down the creek from the camping reserve are most impressive with the mountainous backdrop behind the vast expanse of still water.

Power and telephone are on the road reserve.

This property is only 1.5km to the very popular Flat Rock picnic area which has concrete boat ramp, picnic shelters, BBQs, play ground and sailing club. It is a 3km drive to Rules Beach and 11km to the facilities of Baffle Creek on sealed roads.

Annual rates on the property are approximately $650 payable to the Gladstone Regional Council.
