Rainwater is stored in a 25,000 litre polly tank and extracted using a 240 volt electric pump. At the rear of the property is a moderate sized dam. A septic is installed to the bathroom and toilet.
The majority of the property has been zoned orange which is of concern remnant vegetation. Approximately 10% has been zoned green which is remnant vegetation not of concern.
Regional ecosystems are 12.9-10.7 which is Eucalyptus crebra, E. tereticornis +/- Corymbia tessellaris, Angophora spp., E. melanophloia woodland on sedimentary rocks being of concern.

The facilities of Baffle Creek are 12kms away with general store, tavern, postal agency, rural supplies and bottle shop. A kiosk in a nearby caravan park is only 3km away. There is also a boat ramp here and 2 km down the creek.
